The Lock is an unusual type of lock-shaped verse found in The Insides. You may find a fewly randomly-placed Null Systems lying on the edge of a Lock, but it is nowhere as near as dense as the The Inside. They are also home to Alpha organisms, a Type -6 civilization that harvests the energy of Locks to create quantum octahedrons. The Lock is a bit more unstable than your average The Inside, and ejects 6 null systems per hour, so it has an instability level of 50%.

In the Lock, there are strange regions called harvests where most objects are shaped as a tetrahedron. Contrary to the name, harvests have little to no food consumable by entities.
